You cannot be tattooed if you are:

Under 18 | Pregnant | Breastfeeding | Taking blood thinners | Taking Accutane for acne | Undergoing chemotherapy or radiotherapy.

We do not do men’s brows, but message us and we can direct you to an another artist who does.

By booking your treatment you are acknowledging that you have read, understood and agree to all the information and policies below.

If you have had any previous brow tattooing done elsewhere you must email us or Instagram message a photo of your brows before booking. Failure to do so may mean you are turned away for your treatment.

*We do not do colour boosts over other artists work*

If you are a previous client of Salon 17 please email or Instagram message us a photo of your brows before booking a colour boost so we can check if your old pigment is sufficiently faded.

Remember: You are only ready for a colour boost when your brows have faded by at least 60-70%. This could take 1-5 years depending on skin type and lifestyle. Adding pigment to the skin too soon will result in new hairstrokes blurring and realistic results will not be achievable.

If you are taking any medication or undergoing any treatment that you think may affect your ability to be tattooed please email us or Instagram message before booking.

If you want your brows tattooed for a specific event or occasion please bear the following information in mind.

From start to finish the process can take up to three months. You will have your initial 2 hour tattoo appointment then a 30 min top up session 4-10 weeks later. Your finished brows will then take 2 weeks to heal post top up.

Whilst healing you cannot get your brows wet, sweat or have any direct sun exposure.

Your free (30 minute) top up appointment will be booked in person on the day of your initial treatment. Kindly be aware all top up slots are on Mondays.

​​Failure to follow these instructions may mean you are turned away for your treatment.

2 weeks before your appointment – No sunbathing, sunbeds, botox, facials, retinols, waxing or tinting
48 hours before your appointment – No alcohol
24 hours before your appointment – No caffeine, ibruprofen or asprin. Please gently clean and exfoliate the brows to remove any dead skin cells.

To secure your appointment we kindly request a £95 booking fee, this booking fee is non refundable. Appointments tend to fill up quickly, so please ensure you choose a slot you are sure you can attend.

We have a 72 hour cancellation policy. Appointments can be moved once with at least 72 hours notice. Any changes to your booking within 72 hours of the appointment time will require an additional booking fee.

Booking fees are transferable once, any further date changes will require an additional booking fee.

If you do not arrive for your appointment and haven’t messaged us to let us know, you will still be charged the full amount for your treatment.

If your (free/included) top-up appointment is cancelled less than 72 hours before the allotted date a payment of £95 will be taken for another appointment.

If you need to rearrange your (free/included) top-up appointment for a date that is over the allotted 10 weeks a payment of £95 will be taken for another appointment.

We have a 15 minute late policy. If you arrive any later than 15 minutes after your scheduled appointment time there will not be enough time for your treatment, your deposit will be lost and you will need to book another appointment at a later date.
